What is dance floor wrapping?

Dance floor wrapping is applying a Stretched or Printed vinyl over a dance floor to create a custom look—monogram, pattern, logo, or full design.

Is a dance floor wrap the same as a decal?

Not exactly. A wrap typically covers most or all of the floor. A decal is a smaller graphic placed in the center (like a monogram).

What types of floors can you wrap?

Most common: dance floor tiles, smooth wood, sealed concrete, laminate. Some specialty finishes need extra review first.

Will the wrap damage the floor?

When installed/removed correctly, it should not. Surface type, age, and how long it stays down matter—especially for older floors or sensitive finishes.

Is it safe to dance on? Will it be slippery?

We use event-appropriate vinyl, but traction depends on the venue’s floor and finish type. We’ll recommend the safest option for your surface.

How long does installation take?

Usually 2–3 hours depending on size, access, and complexity. Custom shapes or difficult load-in can take longer.

How long does removal take?

Typically 30–90 minutes, depending on size, adhesive type, and how long it’s been installed.

Do you need the floor cleaned before install?

Yes—clean, dry floors install best. If the venue can’t clean it, we may need to add prep time.

Can you install the wrap the same day as the event?

Often yes, as long as we have a clear time window and access. Earlier access is always better for stress-free setup.

Do you install the day before?

If the venue allows it, day-before installs are great. Some venues don’t allow overnight wraps—so we confirm their rules first.

Can you wrap a custom shape (not a perfect square)?

Yes. Rectangles, circles, odd shapes, stage cutouts—just provide dimensions or a layout. Complex shapes may require extra labor.

Will seams show?

For larger floors, wraps are printed in panels. Seams are aligned carefully and usually not noticeable from normal viewing distance.

What if the venue has strict rules (tape, adhesive, timing)?

That’s common. We’ll work within their rules and adjust materials/timing as needed. Some restrictions can affect price.

Do you need a site visit?

Not always. Clear photos + floor dimensions usually work. For complicated venues, a quick walkthrough can prevent surprises.

What artwork do you need?

Best files: AI, EPS, or high-resolution PDF. If you have a PNG/JPG, it must be high resolution to print clean.

Can you design the wrap for me?

Yes. Simple monograms are fast. Full custom layouts take longer. Design fees depend on complexity and revisions.

Title or Question

Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.

Do I get a proof before printing?

Yes—printing happens only after you approve the final proof.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak wedding season, 2–6 weeks is safer. Rush jobs are possible but may require a rush fee.

What if the wrap gets scratched or bubbles during the event?

Minor scuffs can happen with heavy traffic. We install to minimize bubbles and lifting, and we’ll explain how to avoid damage.

What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

Typically a deposit secures the date and production. Cancellation terms depend on whether printing has started. We include all terms on the formal quote.
